I don't think I'm wrong to guess that the vast majority of people on this board are relatively well off white men. We aren't the primary ones who would be hurt by any government policy. My job as a professor is recession proof to a large degree and I can work from home a lot, so no meaningful harm there. I sure would have liked the US to get COVID under control so my wife and I could go out more since she's high risk. Trump isn't winning any awards for handling that. On the whole though, the stress level of having an incompetent narcissist running the country has been the biggest cost to me the past 4 years.

On the other hand, a new professor in my department is a Chinese national who I collaborate with on research and was just getting his research lab built. He went back to China for the Chinese New Year to renew his visa and was caught there with the travel ban in February. His wife had already come back to the US for work and they have been separated for nearly a year. They won't issue a new visa at the US embassy despite months of his trying thanks to Stephen Miller's influence on immigration policy. If Trump wins I honestly don't know when/if he'll be able to come back. He's basically lost a year of his life and career due to Trump's immigration policies when his goal was to get a green card and have a family in the US. It's tragic and cruel IMO. Oh, and my university gave him $1 million to buy equipment for a research lab that is on hold until he returns. Really good job supporting US science there!
